Pony Express Reride 2009 (Contains 42 photos) Riders in red shirts are sworn in, given a pocket bible and ride over the historic Pony Express Trail. This year I photographed the riders as they made their way across Churchill County from Basque Summit in the Desatoyas to Sand Mt. The photos here are my favorites of the riders from 800 plus photos I took on June 17th.	McCallum-Kegeris Wedding (Contains 88 photos) Just returned from my niece's wedding in Livermore, California. I was not the principal photographer for this affair. These photos are not for sale, but for the enjoyment of those attending the wedding.
Bench Creek Ranch Spring Rodeo and Vaquero Challenge (Contains 75 photos) Some of my favorite pics from the May 30 Rodeo at Paul Plouviez's Ranch	Spring in Nevada (Contains 26 photos) This portfolio shows the photos added to the collection from March through June. Summers coming on strong in the valleys and becoming more evident in the mountains as the snowfields give way to the dog days of summer.

Angling at Pyramid-April 2009 (Contains 35 photos) Anglers make their annual spring pilgrimage to Pyramid Lake. Pyramid Lake Scenics and Wildlife (Contains 18 photos) Undoubtedly, the most beautiful Desert lake in the world. I can't spend enough time there. Fishing through the day and catching the best light in the evening.
Pyramid Lake Anglers (Contains 36 photos) A collection of Pyramid Lake Anglers and their fish from the last 5 years. The fishing has only gotten better for big fish and lots of big fish.	Anglers & Fish of the Great Basin (Contains 30 photos) In my fishing pursuits in Nevada, Oregon and California, I've collected some interesting images of anglers of all ages in pursuit of the quiet sport. You may find yourself in this porfolio, especially if your a member of a Nevada flyclub.
Winter Wanderings (Contains 12 photos) Just a few select images from running around Western Nevada at the tail end of winter.	Fly Geyser and the Black Rock (Contains 8 photos) An early February trip to the Black Rock Desert brought a lucky strike of access to the Fly Geyser and magic light on the Black Rock Desert.
Great Basin Bristlecones (Contains 11 photos) Bristlecone Pine Trees are one of my favorite subjects. Heres a selection on some of my favorite shots taken mostly from the Schell Creek Range and Snake Range in eastern Nevada	Walker Lake (Contains 15 photos) Sister lake to Pyramid, Walker Lake is a desert gem in transition. Its fishery and wildlife are near collapse due to overappropriated water rights upstream.
Winter in Nevada (Contains 23 photos) There's beauty in the fine details of jack frost,clear cold air and the endless horizons of the Great Basin.	2009 Calendar Selections (Contains 13 photos) Heres a close up view of the 2009 Calendar selections by month. The Calendar is named: Great Basin Landscapes as one of the photos was taken in CA. All other photos are from Nevada.
Fall in the Great Basin (Contains 36 photos) Fall in Nevada Mts. are a time of small incremental changes. You have to be there to see the subtle effects the coming of winter has on the landscape. Theres nothing more invigorating than photographing fall aspens in front of an oncoming winter storm.	Western Nevada Rivers (Contains 23 photos) Rare,but intensely beautiful riparain corridors in the rain shadow of the Sierras. This portfolio has vignettes of the Walker and Truckee River and man's interplay with them. More photos will be added to show their character from the Sierra's to the deserts where they flow to.

Everyone is out playing at their favorite activity.	Wildflowers (Contains 36 photos) Wildflowers are a gift of God's garden, spicing up the rugged landscape and providing delicate framing for landscapes from the valleys to the highest mountain peaks.
Spring Wings 2008 (Contains 36 photos) Spring Wings Birding Festival is in its 11th year in 2008. The festival is full of critters and some of my favorite characters.	Indian Powwow (Contains 31 photos) Colorful Regalia of Native Indians comes alive in a Nevada Indian Powwow
White Pine County Outback (Contains 28 photos) White Pine County is an area of incredible beauty, seen by a lucky few. This portfolio features photos from wilderness areas in the Schell Creek Range and the Snake Range.	Humboldt County Outback (Contains 30 photos) Humboldt County in north central Nevada exemplifies the wide open spaces of a land the Pioneers cursed and sometimes blessed on their trip west. Some folks stayed to wrestle a living from the harsh land, they know the beauty of the Great Basin the best.
Sunrise and Sunset (Contains 19 photos) Having the clearest atmosphere in the western US contributes to some stunning,but briefly beautiful skies. The basin and range country of Nevada is in its best light at the begining and end of each day.	To Death Valley and Back (Contains 23 photos) In March, I traveled to Death Valley to do a photo seminar with Mt. Light Gallery and David Muench. The trip was full of adventure as I traveled to Death Valley to photograph its wonders and as I wandered home through some great Nevada country.
Maui Sunsets and Spectres (Contains 17 photos) What does a Nevada Landscape photographer do when forced to spend two weeks in Maui. I had to share some of my best images. Enjoy!
